The PharmacyFika Crew hits the road with their mini-microphones and interviews some of the presenters at the 2026 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Annual Meeting in Grapevine, Texas. Jeff tracks down Krissy Thornby (Palm Beach Atlantic University) to talk about the session entitled The System Teaches What It Rewards: What If Our Assessment Culture Is the Curriculum? and the work of the Academic Affairs Committee. Stuart attended the World Café led by Meagen Rosenthal and Marie Barnard (University of Mississippi) called It's Time to Overhaul Academic Appointment and Advancement, where everyone considered how to measure what we value most. Kristin talked with Alexis Crawford (Virginia Commonwealth University) about the session Implementing Inclusive Teaching Strategies for Both Neurodivergent and Neurotypical Learners and her journey as an educator. And Tina attended the poster sessions and was excited to talk with Wendy Cox (University of North Carolina) about their poster, Building Partnership and Promoting the Undergraduate Pipeline to Pharmacy Education. It's a packed program, with lots of great ideas to inform the Academy.
